Immerse yourself in the calming practice of Forest Bathing at Begin With A Breath. Our guided sensory walks help you connect with nature, reduce stress, and enhance mental clarity. Perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation in natural surroundings.
As an experienced forest bather, Becky brings a calm positive mood to sessions- sharing funny and insightful experiences growing up in the Teton mountains, running marathons through National Parks, and solo backpacking through Europe in her late 40's. Becky was a public school teacher for 20 years before turning her direction into the healing nature of the forest. Her forest bathing certification is accredited by the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM) and the International Certified Association for Holistic Practitioners (ICAHP).
On any given day, you will find her reconnecting to the natural world on the Oregon Coast or the Willamette River Valley.
Forest Bathing is a slow sensory walk, not a workout.
Duration and distance: Usually 1.5 to 3 hours, over 1–2 km.
Physical requirements: Ability to walk independently on uneven ground. Select sessions are available for individuals who use a cane or walker.
What to bring: • Comfortable layered clothing • Good walking shoes • Water • Sitting pad or blanket • Rain jacket (we often continue in gentle rain) • Optional insect protection or hat • Phone in airplane mode
Health and safety notice: Inform the guide about any chronic conditions, medication, allergies, or injuries.
Forest Bathing is a calm, introspective experience, not performance-based.
